"Early in life, I decided that I would not be overcome by events.  My philosophy has been that regardless of the circumstances, I shall not be vanquished, but will try to be happy.  Life is not easy for any of us.  But it is a continual challenge, and it is up to us to be cheerful – and to be strong, so that those who depend on us may draw strength from our example."  – Rose Kennedy

"Leaders who win the respect ofothers are the ones who deliver more than they promise, not the ones who promise more than they can deliver."  – Mark A. Clement

Napoleon was asked after his stunning victory in Italy how he made his army cross the Alps.  He replied, "One does not make a French army cross the Alps; one leads it across."

"A good leader takes a little more than his share of blame, a little less than his share of credit."  – Arnold Glasow

    Chris,
I was listening to “Its Possible”
again today. It would be great if you could give an updated version.
It fits well with what is going with TEAM and Mona Vie.
    Regards
    George

My most recent favorite quote “You aren’t thinking big enough” came from a guy named Chris Brady last Friday night in Saginaw Michigan. Thanks for inspiration Chris.

    Hi Chris:
    Great quotes. Here is one:
“We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” As organizations transform themselves, they will transform the world. To date, organizations have done far more to stifle leadership than to encourage it. — Gandhi

It was in 1873, in Dublin that D. L. Moody heard British evangelist Henry Varley utter those life changing words: β€œThe world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in a man who is fully and wholly consecrated to Him.” It was after an all-night prayer meeting in Dublin, at the home of Henry Bewley. Varley did not even remember making the statement when Moody reminded him of it a year later. β€œAs I crossed the wide Atlantic,” Moody said, β€œthe boards of the deck … were engraved with them, and when I reached Chicago, the very paving stones seemed marked with them.”
The result: Moody decided he was involved in too many ministries to be effective and therefore began to concentrate on evangelism.
