A Thesis

I have been thinking a lot recently about the challenges to liberty and how it seems a society like ours is bent on destroying itself from the inside out. In words I've used before the question is, "How did we get here?"

In an attempt to answer this question I have posited four reasons:

1. People are too quick to trust their government.

2. People don't notice the creeping infringement upon their freedoms by their government.

3. People don't understand or appreciate their freedom adequately, nor truly realize how it came to be, or how bad things would be without it.

4. Many are more interested in their own personal advantages than in justice for all, resluting in a "justice for us" mindset.

In future posts I hope to delve deeper into each one of these categories.

    I pray that the wisdom and the truth shared on all the blogs from Team, from anywhere for that matter, trickle through the information highway, strengthens daily, and spreads world wide.
    I hope people are becoming more aware of these things and start to hunger both sides of the economic spectrum.
    I think, No. 1. People are too quick to trust their government, is mainly an illusion caused by the rapid growth of technology. This expertise in modern machinery makes everything more convenient and more suitable for everyone to live at ease. While camouflaging the crippling and slow decay of the American Dreams that either, by accident or malicious design, are being siphoned from our hearts and souls.
    That same illusion touches a little of each 4 reasons you have posted…
    So “How did we get here?”
    Not only have we become complacent as a whole, teetering on apathetic, but also spoiled and arrogant. That’s not a good combination of attributes to be shouldering while the leaders from “We the Peoples” beloved United States and abroad are leading us into a deep dark cavern! From which only those who brush aside those illusions of security and seek the truth, will have a chance at turning the rest of the “Compromised Primetime Zombies” around.
