And we’re about to get blasted with this new healthcare “reform” they’re pushing through. I’ll be paying taxes on my employee healthcare, which is currently taken out of my paycheck pretax. And that’s only part of their projected “plan” for paying for it.
I might as well quit my job and sponge off the govt too. Why not? They’re taking the benefit away from those who actually work.
Well, I would quit if I didn’t work for a place that actually has a cause. Let’s shake it up.LikeLike

When charities do good works, it’s compassion moved and motivated by love. Things generally get done effeciently, effectively and economically.
When governments do “good works,” it’s mandated pity moved and motivated by a corporate desire to make things minimally “fair” for everyone. Things generally get done ineffeciently, ineffectively and uneconomically.
I’d rather send what would be my tax dollars to charities, please . . .LikeLike

As a motorsport junkie, I was wondering if you have been following what is happening with the rules in Formula 1. Basically, if a team accepts a budget cap next year, they will be given more design leeway, basically will be able to create a faster car. How does this apply to socialism? I’m not sure how I feel about it, and I don’t have the time to research how much they spend now. I’d just love to hear your thoughts.LikeLike
