Thanks for sharing this Chris! Everytime I watch a video with this type of story, it makes me really appreciate what I have in life! Someone Needs to share the Team MonaVie plan with his father!

Thank you, Chris, for following me at Twitter! So I came to your blog and I am deeply touched by this story… Not only how Patrick handles his socalled “disabilities” but also how his father copes with the situation as he says: Okay, so I saw, we could not do sports, but we could do music together!
How precious, if we as parents can focus on the good sides of our children, if we can see, what we have in common and can do with our kids together!
I am very touched by this video. Thank you,
Christine

Amazing!! What a great team he and his father make. What a great example that God has a purpose no matter how uncapable we feel. Patrick has such confidence. I need to learn how to grow my confidence. I know without it I will not fulfill my purpose. Thank you for posting this video. Merry Christmas!

Wow!
This is one amazing, ispirational story. We can all learn so much from Patrick.
He is definitely a hero, like his father said.
What love is shown between this father and son. I love how he said in the beginning how if Patrick wanted to be in the band, then he wanted to do it with him.
Chris, you have talked on a CD before about the passion and determination of a father to help their son’s fulfill their dream and push them to their utmost potential.
This father is also a hero, but I think Patrick’s belief was off the charts.
Thank you for sharing this.LikeLike

I remember watching this family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and crying tears of joy for the family. They have an amazing son, and they could have rolled over and said, well his life is over, but they didn’t they gave him every opportunity they could to let him succeed in life. It is amazing how much you can learn from people who have overcome so many obstacles in there lives. And I just hope that if my child is born with a defect that I can be the same as Patrick’s family and not just assume the worst. Thank you for reminding me of this family.
God Bless,
