Hbx1204oxfordshire_06 As participants in this blog, this is your chance to contribute content to a future project.  If you would like to help, please tell us your favorite quotes!  There are lots of good quotes out there, but what I am looking for are the ones that move you, cause you to stop and think, or stay with you and have an impact on your behavior. 

I know in my life, there are five or six that had that kind of power.  Statements such as, "Ten years from now, what will you wish you had done today?" have changed my life.  I look forward to reading the ones that have had similar impact on you!

    This poem has inspired me to continue to strive for the best and raise the bar on myself. Although it’s not a quote, I believe each point can stand on it’s own merit! Thanks for letting me share!

    I have a list I keep on my computer of all the quotes I run across that really hit me. Some of these make me laugh, some make me think and some just plain make me. Hope you enjoy.

    This may not be the most positively uplifting quote, but it has strongly affected me because it’s all about having the spine to stand up for the right things at the right time.

    I couldn’t find your e-mail address, but I wanted to share this with you. It’s a lecture that was given a couple of years ago at a TED Conference in California by Bill Strickland titled: Rebuilding America, one slide show at a time. It speaks of hope, and how when you have a dream, that is coupled with leadership amazing things can happen. In so many way’s I see parallels with Bill’s work and what I see Team doing to bring hope to people who have lost sense of their purpose, vision and value through leadership principals, story, and a chance to change.

    A few months ago a CD came down on system that talked about memorizing a Bible verse every month. Before that CD I had already memorized a verse you personally had wrote in my LLR.
    You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to every one in the house. In the same way let your light shine before man, that they main see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.
