If I am not mistaken this photo is from my hometown. Trust me, we are not all lazy or careless enough to let this happen!!!!!!!!!!
Once it got quite a bit of publicity it was corrected and re-painted!
That work crew is not on System!!!!

Sometimes when you feel like road kill you are really right in the middle of the action. Other times you really are road kill.

What do you get when you cross a chameleon and a possum?
    I don’t know either. It’s a stupid question.

Not my job. Or if your not moving expect life to paint you as you are. Or is it the little things in life that show your character. At any rate you realy ought to want to.

Friends always said that Pauly O’Possum had a yellow stripe down his back when it came to crossing that busy highway. Unfortunately, when he did have the nerve to try, it turned out he got two yellow stripes instead.

A possum jumping on a metal corrugated roof each morning for the last month at 3:00am is finally electrocuted, but George really didn’t want to get in trouble with PETA, and put it in the center of a road just before the night crew painted the road. Now he hopes that CSI wont find out it was him.

I’m going go paraphrase Mr. Miyagi on this one, from The Karate Kid I.
“Think of street, hm? Walk on left side, safe. Walk on right side, safe. Walk in middle, sooner or later–squish! Just like possum.
“Here, Team same thing: Either you Team do ‘yes,’ or Team do ‘no.’ You, Team do ‘guess so.’ Squish! Just like possum.”

    Associated Press
Kalamazoo, MI – Evolutionists everywhere heralded the discovery of this possum they call “Sally”. Scientists agree this is proof positive that animals are adapting to their surroundings still today, as they did since the beginning of time.
Sally, believed to be somewhere between 150 Million to over 600 Billion years old, has adapted to her ever changing environment by developing bright yellow stripes across her face and midsection, enabling her to be virtually invisible in broad daylight while in the middle of most two lane highways in Western Michigan. Sally was also able to flatten herself to resemble “roadkill”, a defense mechanism which kept most predators away.
Dr. Harold Von Haroldson, professor of Animalolgy at The Poly-Sci Tech Institute of Higher Learning in Hackensack, NJ, is amazed at the discovery. “I just never thought we’d ever get any evidence to prove the theory of evolution, but at last, a new day has dawned.”
Unfortunately, Sally was hit by some unruly teenagers joy riding on a stolen Tri-actor – proving Survival of the Fittest is still in full effect as well.
Sally is expected to be on display at the Smithsonian later this month – after authorities in Kalamazoo decide whose job it is to shovel her up.

As we on the TEAM all know, ‘true wisdom is learning from the mistakes of others’ how wise could it be then to stand in the very same spot and take a snapshot in traffic? I LOVE the way our system makes me think!
