On Wednesday, all Americans who are engaged in pulling the cart paid in their taxes to those who ride in the cart. "Tea parties," reminiscent of the Boston Tea Party of 1773, which protested taxation that amounted to less than 2%, were staged in cities across the nation. Apparently the three readers of this blog are not the only ones fed up. Reader Joe Serra contributed the following photos, which I thought were clever and good for a laugh. If only they weren't so true! Enjoy. (Click on any individual picture to enlarge).

Outstanding!! Is it fair to assume that you did not pick any of these up via CNN or the networks??
These are challenging and changing times. Thank you for your voice and your focus. GOD BLESS!!LikeLike

Chris,
The latest reports I read said there were at Tax Day TEA Parties in at least 2000 cities around the U.S. this week! What a great show of support for this movement.
Neither my husband nor I personally could not attend our local one, due to our work schedules. However, the report I read also said the TEA Parties were so well received, they are organizing more than one a year!
Yep, that’s right. On none other than July 4th, U.S. Independance Day, we can all declare our indepdance from high taxes!! We plan to proudly make our Constitutional right of free speech a vital part of our family’s July 4th celebrations, and invite all your readers to do it, too . . .LikeLike

Chris:
The one in St. Louis was very well attended.
At least people are trying to voice their opinions through their actions.LikeLike

Chris,
We were all aware of these issues, yet when they are spelled out on signs by the actual cart pullers it really sends a message. I grew up in a town of cart riders and I thought I was crazy for working 1 FT & 1 PT job and going to school FT while everybody else got welfare to buy and sell their drugs and liquor and harm the innocent that wouldn’t participate and mock me in the process. It feels so good to see others in the same boat as me. Thank you so much! It is really inspiring to read your blog every day. It’s life changing to see others out there in the cause. God Bless.LikeLike

I saw one that read:
Obamanomics:
CHAINS you can believe in!LikeLike

Chris,
The sign “I found this in the dumpster behind the Capital building” What was it? Was it the Constitution? Can’t see it.
I agree with Sue, you definately wouldn’t be seeing any of these signs posted anywhere near the Media.
During these times I’m even more the grateful to be part of an ongoing fight to help change this Country. Thanks for ALL that you do. God Bless you & the rest of the PC.LikeLike

Yes, Debora, it was the Constitution.
Also, I can’t believe all these right-wing violent radicals (actually there were people of ALL parties at these rallies) had the nerve to make these signs and protest. Are you serious? How many liberal protests are there each year? I’m sure I could drive down the street and find somebody picketing against vending machine companies because the machines won’t accept bridge cards.LikeLike

Hi Chris,
I just got my hands on your CD, “Your Second Second”, and intend to have a few friends listen to it, too. Awesome job at getting the message across. Campaign For Liberty has found a way we might be able to start doing something about this, by auditing the Federal Reserve and making their information known to congress and the public (which has never really been done). There’s a one minute video about it on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRsLGS8Coz8
God Bless,

Chris,
Our Sunday local newspaper columnist did his whole column today on my city, Albany, NY’s, Tax Day TEA Party. We are the state capital here, and as such, governmental issues and politics are at the forefront of local discussions much of the time. It’s also a favorite fodder for this particular columnist.
The first thing I noticed about the column was the fellow who wrote it was either blind or dissolusioned. He believed the TEA Party was just here in our city, not a nationwide movement. I guess we need more national coverage in the summer??
The second thing was when he was talking about the motivations of the demonstrators. He couldn’t decide if they were deluded conservatives or people who were truly convinved the tax burden in our state (don’t forget, he didn’t seem to know it was nationwide!) is too large and unfair.
At that point, I got too disgusted to read anything else he said. After a while, you just have to shut off the drivel!
Even if it had been just for our state, businesses are taxed and regulated so punishingly by our state, it’s no wonder they’ve been leaving in droves for years. The out of control state spending, the always late state budget (over 2 1/2 decades not on time!), the pervasive welfare mentality — all of these contribute to people being sick and tired of it.
I have heard it said that where California and New York go, so goes the rest of the nation eventually. California, with its liberal social agenda. New York, with the liberal social welfare state. When titans battle, people suffer. When titans work together, more people suffer more.LikeLike

Great events by truely inspiring MEN and WOMEN!
(FOX) They don’t get into the exact detail’s, like how many numbers these Tax Party’s have attracted or what the people are actually standing up for, not that I’ve seen but FOX News has been the only media coverage. I have this erie feeling this is more conquere and divide tactics by our grand free press.LikeLike

P.S. If it is I hope it back fires on them!

If the girl in the first picture found out about Team Monavie and worked at it she would only need One part time job and no college.
She could just play the rest of the time. Perish the thought.LikeLike

Chris, I went to a small (1100 people) Tea Party in Rochester, NY and I’ve included a link below for people to see someone’s home videos from the event. My two-sided sign read, “We the People … Want It Back. Stop the Spending.” AND ” Governed by Laws … Not the Whims of Men. Debt Kills Freedom.”
We thanked the police and picked up our trash … not your normal protest. There was a color guard, a bagpiper, many speakers, a Chaplain, we sang patriotic songs … and it felt great to be a part of this National event !!
This was the day that the ostrich woke up to pull her head out of the sand and when the frog finally wised up and jumped out of that boiling pot of water … a day to be remembered.

Chris,
I was at Sacramento’s tea party and there were about 5,000 people there! It was the 1st ever such protest I’ve ever attended. Only through reading the books I’ve read has brought me to this point. Sean Hannity on Fox is the loudest voice out there. How can we as a TEAM and Hannity unite through the upcoming protest events moving forward?LikeLike

Robert Kiyosaki is working on a new book. You can check out the first few chapters so far, and contribute with your own comments at http://www.conspiracyoftherich.com He talks about pretty much everything the Team is actively fighting against.

There are politicians and there are public servants.
Definition: Politics
Poly is the Latin word for many.
Ticks are a bloodsucking parasite.
We need public servants (or leaders).
We do not need politicians.LikeLike
