Not much time today for posting, but I thought I would share with you all one of my favorite verses from the Old Testament:
Psalm 37:23-24
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand."

I absolutely love this Verse! There is nothing better than knowing that the Lord is always there no matter what!! I was unable to go last weekend but my Husband did. My favorite verse is also my least favorite verse. It starts off so perfectly, then gets all messed up.
Vengence is mine, saith the Lord
Why does he get all the cool jobs?

Alright Chris, you just woke a sleeping giant with this one! I can’t hold back. For the longest of time, since, being associated with the likes of Mr. Woodward and yourself, I’ve had a bible verse (or two)that have jumped out at me as well. I’d like to share. Two particular verses describe the kind of men you and Orrin exemplify— Proverbs 29:23 states; “A man’s pride shall bring him low; But he that is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor.”…which leads to this particular verse—-1Corinthians 4:12 ~ “We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless..When we are persecuted..we endure it”
Everytime I look in the mirror, I pray that the person staring back at me lives his life the same way as that person staring back at them when you and Orrin look in the mirror. Thank you for your example!

This is a great verse, I think it is interesting that it says the Lord is guiding your steps and that you WILL fall. And fall not to stay down but to get back up again through the power of the hand of God.
He’s with us through it all -guides us, lets us fall and helps us up again. He’s a good Dad.
