NO

Greatness is available.

That simple sentence is so powerful I want to encourage you to read it again and really think about it:

Greatness is available.

Most people, however, never make the choice or the pursuit. Why? I believe it's because of the fear of rejection.

Said another way, and to quote authors Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz, "your fear of hearing the word 'No' is the only thing standing between you and greatness."

Now, isn't that an invigorating thought? (And don't you dare say 'no'!)

When one hears the word NO, then learns to immediately replace those 2 letters in there brain with, YES I CAN!, success will follow.

What ways can an individual overcome this fear…? Action conquers fear, this some may know. But very much it’s equal, many understand that flossing is healthy, and yet so few will do it. What is the differnece maker in the flosser and the not…? (Besides tooth decay and rot)

Howdy Chris, It took me a while to figure out that when people say “no” they are looking for a reason to say “yes”. Thanks for reminding us that “No” isn’t necessarily the end of a conversation.

    Chris,
‘No’ could be considered a PDCA code word for ‘Try Again!’.
    Thank,
    John

    Chris,
To some people, fear is a giant with huge muscles and mighty weapons blocking their path. Their dreams are so small, they can’t see them behind him. Their dreams just aren’t big enough to see or get past him. It’s just not worth the effort.
For others, fear is a midget in front of a huge dream. It is a Chihuahua sized issue with a Great Dane sized reason standing behind him. Their dreams are far too big to not get past him. The effort is always worth the struggle.
It all depends, I am learning, on the size of your dreams and the focus of your perspective . . .

    Chris:
This is very powerful. Courage contrasts fear. I know for me when I hesitate because of the fear of NO, I usually regret it. But, when I forge ahead and say, oh, go for it, I feel so much better.
    Thanks for the dare.
