Arnold Until you take full responsibility for where you are in life at this moment, you can't take ownership of creating the future of your dreams. Without admitting that you are in life exactly where you have put yourself, you will never be able to believe you can place yourself in a better situation.  In other words, if you allow "situations" and "circumstances" to get the blame for your lack of results, you will never believe in your ability to overcome them in the future.

You can't have it both ways.

Toughen up mentally. Admit your failures and mistakes. Then do something about them. Lesser people have accomplished more simply because they had the audacity to believe in the possibility of their dreams coming true. Do likewise, my friends, because audacity should not be reserved solely for scoundrels.

    Chris:
I was just listening to a CD about responsbility today that totally reinforces this post.
Your post sounds exactly like the CD. It was a leadership one done by Chuck Goetschel.
    We all have a choice.
    Thanks for posting this.

    Chris,
Now I know how to respond to the question “How are you today?”
    “I am audaciously great!”
    Thank you for your focus,
    John

Exactly what I was pondering as I heard “Awaken the Olimpian within” today where it was said that he could tell who would be successful by hearing who took responsibility for where they’re at, or who blamed other people and things for their situation.

Intense… and so on target! Believe that you can and you will… believe that you can’t and you will… I like to believe otherwise! I want to hear messages of encouragement… I won’t fail and I will continue to march on … as I have been blessed… life is so precious!

    “Stop Whining!”
Sound advice from the Governator himself. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think that line was from “Kindergarten Cop.”

Thanks for the reminder that we are exactly where we have placed ourselves. It is very important to recognize this and to give us that extra boost that we need to keep going and strive to make our lives better.

    Chris,
Thank you for sharing this on Facebook. I began my day thinking about this very subject, yes directed at myself lol, and embracing your article was like a Karmic reality slap.
