Thoughts Serving others is one of the primary reasons we are here.

Very little that is worthwhile can be accomplished without the cooperation of others.

While individuals can accomplish some things, teams can accomplish nearly anything!

You have to be different to make a difference.

Never underestimate the power of fun in building relationships.

Leaders confront brutal reality so they can attack the status quo.

    Chris,
Thanks for those! They are good to keep in mind.
I especially like, “You have to be different to make a difference.” That one really hit home.
I was a social outcast and misfit the whole time when I was growing up. It happened, and I learned to deal with it. I forgave my tormentors and moved on with my life.
Now, I am mentoring my 13 (going on 30) year old neice through similar issues with her family. I am encouraging and uplifting her, without tearing down her mother (my sister) and her efforts at parenting. (Her parents are good people and committed Christians, just not on System . . .)
So thank you for this quote I can use to reassure a hurting teen that being a misfit is not only not fatal, it’s an advantage . . .

    Chris:
This post is so perfect this week, as we have been dealing with an issue at work where the discussion had to take place that there was no I in TEAM.
If some could only realize the power of a team.
I am going to print your post on my door today, along with the TEAM one I have and the Excellence vs. Mediocrity one I have.
These have become our motto’s in our group.
    Thank you so much.

    Chris,
“Never underestimate the power of fun in building relationships.”
I received this twitter message right in the middle of building our relationship with a new member of our team. How true this message is!
    Thanks,
    John

I’ve realized that very thing a while ago and have been in search of an organization that thrives on the power of teamwork and helping others live to their potential. Team found me and exposed me to a unlimited source of prosperity. I’m looking forward to my life with Team 20, 40 and 60 years from now.

The MANli-est thing a man can ever do is to overcome himself. Know yourself, and make the old you submit to the best you.
