Thanks, Chris,
For sharing this! Too often, even in our rightful striving to be what God made us to be and give our families more, we fail to appreciate what is right in front of our eyes. Thank you for the reminder.

Hey, there, Chris,
Thanks for the video. I’ve started putting leadership videos & quotes, and political conservative information webpages that I encounter from reliable sources (like you) on my Facebook feed to spread some of this thinking to my friends.
Regarding this video in particular that you posted, I do like it. I find I am pleasantly surprised to be able to recall many times when I have not had the entitlement mentality for technological miracles, and still see with the wonder of a child (that’s one of my definitions of eternal youth).
I would like to point out one differentiation that I think has substance. This was illustrated to me lately when Don Freeze was nice enough to hook up an electronic to my car to find out what the engine light was for. I did have the big scoffing reaction when I found that it was cylinder #1 not firing, again, again. The scoff came because I’ve just been in a situation in life where even despite my best punches, the guy in the other corner doesn’t look beat up at all, and his punches don’t stop hitting me either.
So the differentiation I’d like to draw is that the scoff isn’t acceptable via an entitlement attitude if we’re just expecting ourselves to be catered to, but if we are giving our all, we do have leeway to get frustrated and scoff.
(And after a minute I realized it is the best thing the engine light could have been for, because it’s an issue that I already know exists with that car, and the car can still run fine on 5 cylinders.)
Blessed and Highly Favored.

Made me feal real dumb and ungrateful… But let me explain, I have no home internet, I use that tiny 2″x 1″ LED screen on my phone for all my internet use. (The internet at your fingertips? Internet in the palm of your hand, yeah that,) Anyway, there’s a part in this video that kinda hit home… Picture this. Waiting for that little green loading bar to grow across the tiny glowing screen, which just may have switched to screensaver once or twice, impatiently waiting, waiting, you know what I did, yeah,of course, I gave that little innocent electronic modern miracle in the palm of my hand a piece of my mind. After a few seconds, (probably 20,) I finally get to watch the clip. Suprisingly without it skipping. and, yup, he just had to say it,…this ‘High D’ was feeling like she ate a foot. – Thank you for the patience, and gratefullness wake up call, Chris!
