Change Change can be overwhelming and scary sometimes. But the one thing that doesn't change is change. The world we live in is changing at an accelerating pace; and we'd better get used to it.

Instead of fearing change we should embrace it. We should dig deeper into advancements in the areas in which we're interested, deciding what to utilize and what to do without. However, all change is not good, and we certainly shouldn't be uncritical in our acceptance of innovations, but we should foster a spirit of breaking things that aren't broken, thinking creatively, and feeling the enthusiasm of a world in fast forward.

The paradox, of course, is to do all this without losing what was good in the "old." We still need to enjoy the little things, the portions of life that technology can't touch, and understand the eternal and timeless questions. These, without doubt, will always be the most important, and that will never change!

    Some things shouldn’t be broken
    like the US Constitution.
    And we thought Nixon confused
Can you have it both ways at the same time?
Do people really want to live in Chaos?
Which muslim country is not repressed?
You can be good on some one elses dime, in the new world a bank robber can be a philanthropist.
Is Charles Mansion really a good guy?
    Is red really green?
Every person is discriminated against due to their skin color, facial features, hair color, tatoos, personal hygene, job(dairy farmer), etc. depending on where they are.
The book the Emperor’s New Clothes takes on more meanings every day.
Isnt it strange how the simplest books and stories seem to carry the greatest message? Like the Little Red Hen, the engine that could, etc. Did the little Red Hen form an award group to give herself an award for the best bread and broad cast it on TV? And we all went out and bought a loaf because it was the best

    Chris:
Change can be a very difficult process for some. I know for me I found that I had to keep an open mind. I was used to black and white and this was how it was done, so I was supposed to do it that way too.
The more I read, the easier it has been to adapt to what can be.
Thanks for a great major convention.
I can’t get your dog story out of my head. People at the airport were barking like you were on stage. The folks not at the convention were probably thinking,
    what are they doing?
    Too funny.

    Chris,
I learned at a very young age the only thing constant in the world is, in fact, a state of change. Learning to be flexible and accommodate changing circumstances was a fact of my life, and a skill set I learned early.
I am forever grateful to you and the Team for reminding me that what is most important about change is not the change itself — it’s how I respond to it and move through it.
I told our 24 year old mildly autistic son today that even though he sees a gulf bigger than the Grand Canyon between where he is and where you are, the only things keeping him on his side of it are his limiting beliefs about himself, time and some hard work. I am not sure if he believed me, though I am hoping it sparked a further willingness to change and grow on his part.
The major was incredible. We were hollering, “Hut One! Hut Two! Power Player!!” at each other among our little group all the way home. People in the airports and on the planes who hadn’t been there thought we were plain NUTS!!! And today, when our son pointed out a small animal in a neighbor’s yard, I couldn’t resist a round of, “Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey!” Talk about a fast way to make a 24 year old think his mom’s gone completely and totally bonkers!!! (You GOTTA post that as a video, PLEASE!!!!)

    Chris,
Sometimes we need to change and keep moving forward even if others aren’t ready to change.
    Thanks for the changed reminder!
