“Every time you show the plan, you help keep freedom alive.” Chris, you have so eloquently given form to what I have always seen in the TEAM. Thank you, and let us pray that our ideas and efforts will have a lasting positive impact. We will never give in.

I just read the Gold and Freedom article that you recommended. I am horrified yet more determined than ever to keep freedom alive for grandchildren Chad Paul, Alydia, and Trevin. I was so amongst the “most Americans” who have been mis-educated – I remember standing at the monument dedicated to Roosevelt and the New Deal in Washington D.C. with a much different understanding than I now have. I am grateful to you and the Team every day for opening my eyes and giving me a chance to make a difference.

    Chris:
220 to 215. We only needed 5 more votes for a tie. Very sad.

    Chris,
This time, that quote should read, “Make us slaves, but care for us . . .”
May God have mercy on us all!

    Chris:
In the Senate, the stumbling block is the idea of the government competing with private insurers.
The Senate may not be quite so easy to pass this bill.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
    – C. S. Lewis
    Pretty much says it all.
