Have you been wondering just how the mortgage bubble got started in the first place? Remember how I said that the government being in such a hurry last fall to "bail out" the lending industry indicated complicity in the problem? Read this short Times article from 1999 and see the genesis of the problem. Government should not be meddling in the markets. Plain and simple. And these are the same people that want to take over health care! We are crazy to even let them say the words! (If they succeed, we will have a medical system with the compassion of the IRS and the efficiency of the Department of Motor Vehicles! alas, but that's fodder for another article).

Their view is not our view. They dont see the world through the christian eyes. They see need not love. My parents do what they do out of love not because someone needs it. They hear the God of Love but dont hear born again, following God’s laws, worship, etc. Their ears dont hear , their eyes dont see, their heart doesn’t love from a God centered belief point.LikeLike

I pray that the government socializes health care soon. In my humble opinion, the two biggest failures of the 20th century was our staggering inability to provide adequate food and health care for every person in the world, even though we have more than adequate resources. If nothing else, providing health care for every person in the united states regardless of income would be an incredible start. I am currently studying medicine at Michigan state university, and when i am a doctor, i plan on fighting to get every citizen affordable (or even better, free) health care, even if it means serious pay cuts for myself. There is a motto in the team that says “if you cannot afford it, you do not deserve to have it.” This motto works great in terms of possessions. If you cannot afford a new car, it is foolish and blatantly irresponsible to purchase one anyway. However, now lets apply this motto to health care. It would read “if you cannot afford the treatment, you do not deserve to live.” That is the most frightening statement that i have ever heard in my life. As Christians, we have a moral obligation to defend the defenseless. I feel that beyond all shadow of a doubt, this means socializing health care so every person in the U.S. can be defended by good, caring physicians who care more about helping patients than their own salary. Doesn’t this headline alone give you an idea of how twisted the American media can be?
Isn’t an effective leader’s job supposed to be “leading the charge UP that hill and the downside of that hill should be the reward for the courageous people who chose to take the initiative to march up that hill in the first place?? .. Please correct me if I’m wrong on this!LikeLike
